Liam Maheu

Hey there.

My name is Liam. I’m a product designer with over seven years of experience working with some of the world’s largest companies, such as Apple, Nike, Salesforce, Volkswagen, Pepsi, Psyonix, and more.

I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in User Experience Design.

Off the clock

When I’m not designing I really enjoy spending my time creating music, traveling with my wife, hanging out with my cats and dog, or even swimming or playing hockey.

I currently reside in Rhode Island, about 45 minutes by train to Boston.

Why I design

A lot of my design work is inspired by the media I love, from music, movies, and games to the places I’ve traveled, like London, Amsterdam, San Francisco, and New York City.

My fascination to understand other cultures and learn new things about myself through the lives and experiences of others is the driving force behind why I love to design.

My current goals

  • Learning French proficiently
  • Playing hockey semi-competitively in an adult league
  • DJing in the local scene here in Providence (tons of awesome stuff going on especially from Tight Crew)
  • Being a great husband to my awesome wife!
  • Helping others become the best version of themselves!
  • Creating positive and lasting change in my community for working class people via involvement in the political system at the local city level
